Omschrijving
Offering imaginative insight into the area where mathematics and the arts meet, this book may be used as a practical tool by the architect, designer or scientist who has to deal with such problems as defining space, distributing patterns, packing and stacking, and communication links.
'Keith Critchlow has one of the century’s rare conceptual minds. He is continually inspired by the conceptioning of both earliest and latest record. He lauds the work of others while himself pouring forth, in great modesty, whole vista-filling new realizations of nature’s mathematical structuring.… He is one of the most inspiring scholar-teachers I have had the privilege to know' - Buckminster Fuller
Dr. Keith Critchlow is the cofounder of the journal Temenos, as well as the author of numerous books on sacred geometry. He is Professor Emeritus at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts in London, and a former professor of Islamic Art at the Royal College of Art.
