Arvaaq Press is a Nunavut-based educational publishing company with a mandate to provide educators and parents with educational resources that are infused with authentic Northern perspectives, ways of life, and imagery. Our publishing initiative always considers stories and information in an educational context. All the publications available from Inhabit Education Books are developed by a team of Northern educators and language experts.
Sigmundur Thorgeirsson is an Icelandic illustrator living in Toronto. He studied Drawing at ihe Reykjavik School of Visual Arts in Iceland and then illustration with an emphasis on Entertainment at Laguna College of Art and Design in California, USA. When not illustrating books he can be found making indie games and picking up his dog's poop.
