Composer and pianist Jacco Lamfers read a poem from an inscription on a wooden bench alongside a Scottish river: “Take time to see in broad daylight, streams full of stars like skies at night”. In this piece for piano he expresses this insight through music.
Jacco Lamfers (Netherlands, 1970) studied composition, piano and song accompaniment. He performed extensively and was piano and music theory teacher. For 5 years Jacco and his family lived in Scotland. After a career of playing and teaching, the Highlands renewed the inspiration to continue writing music.
